Complete this in preparation for your creative writing assignment next week.

I’ve also added the ‘Inpsiration’ worksheet so that you can have a go at using some different words.

Year 11 Homework for Friday 23.09.11

Click on the three links below, which all lead to images of a place, person or thing.

You are going to use these images as inspiration for a piece of writing.

Spend some time looking at them and write down any ideas that they inspire. Who are the characters? Where are they? Why? How are they feeling? What might happen in this place?

Your homework is to do two things.

1. Write a PLAN for a short story, based on these images.

2. Write the opening 500 words of the story, being as brilliant as you possibly can. Don’t forget to use the ‘Conventions of the Gothic Genre’ sheets. And for heaven’s sake, don’t forget how to spell ‘disappear’.
